What I provide as your birth doula:

I offer my birth package at a sliding scale of $1,250 - 1,500

I am working for you, not your caregiver or hospital.

Before labor:

  • Three (3) prenatal in-person doula visits, lasting two (2) hours each, for you, and your partner. This is the time for us to get to know each other, and for me to learn how I might best serve you in childbirth.

  • I provide resource lists and an informational packet with video links. We will review your birth preferences, and explore any fears/concerns, prior birth experiences, etc.

  • One (1) prenatal visit can be with your midwife/care provider if desired.

  • In addition to prenatal visits, I’m available for unlimited phone, text, and email access throughout your pregnancy for any and all birth related curiosities and support.

During labor:

  • I am on call for you (24/7) starting at the beginning of week 36 of your pregnancy.

  • I arrive to assist with active labor, providing comfort measures and support in all the ways. I bring a TENS unit, a homeopathic remedies kit, aromatherapy support, and pain relieving natural salves. Sometimes the best support is a gentle, calm presence. I will protect the sacredness of your laboring and birthing space, at home or hospital.

  • Once baby arrives, I spend the first hour or two postpartum with you to make sure everyone is comfortable (and fed!)

  • Because birth is unpredictable, I will assign a back-up doula for additional support in the event of extenuating circumstances.

After labor:

  • I will offer two (2) Postpartum visits, lasting two (2) hours each, for processing the labor experience, breastfeeding support, emotional and informational support, providing and prepping meals, light housekeeping, infant care and more.

  • I also offer additional postpartum support at a rate of $35/hour.
